The Foundations of Saint Thomas, Baptist and MTMC facilities are not-for-profit organizations that exist solely to develop resources for their respective hospitals.
The Saint Thomas Health Services Fund, a separately incorporated 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization, oversees operations of the Baptist Hospital Foundation and the Saint Thomas Foundation.
The foundations solicit and manage donations for a variety of projects, including clinical research, new equipment and facilities, education and direct care for the poor. Funds are raised through special events, annual giving, planned giving and employee campaigns.
By staying focused on our Mission Vision and Values, the needs of our patient populations and on prudent business operations, the foundations will continue to be a force for carrying out the mission of the Daughters of Charity throughout the region.
